Choosing between Bauer Vapor X 2.0 and X 3.0?
I’m starting training hockey and buying my first pair of hockey skates and don’t know which ones to choose. I don’t have from lot to choose and this store only sells Bauer. I have owned Bauer Vapor roller hockey skates before and used them a lot so I am not a total beginner. I love them. My model was RX:05 but I feel like I could buy more advanced skates, then I also wouldn’t need to buy a new pair for the next season. Which skates do you think I should buy?

Hey dude what’s up? I’ve been playing hockey for 6 years, so trust me. So to answer your question, it depends. If you are 14 or younger I would recommend getting the 2.0 skates because your feet are still growing (and they are less expensive). If you are 15 or over, I would recommend the 3.0 skates because your feet are pretty much done growing. However, if one skate feels more comfortable that the other I would get that skate.
